From addressing food insecurity to empowering youth and promoting healthy lifestyles, we proudly help Extension connect people with the tools they need to thrive. Together, we’re building stronger, healthier communities through innovation, collaboration, and learning. Join us in making a lasting impact in Northern Illinois.

Extension bridges the gap between university research and the public by delivering educational programs that address community needs. Through the Cooperative Extension System (CES), individuals gain the tools and knowledge to solve problems, develop skills, and create positive change in their communities.
